The Luminance features a unique 13" spring, cotton, and foam futon mattress compressed to finish at 8" thick. The core is made of 560 individual pocketed cells, surrounded by two layers of cotton polyester blend and two layers of a lofted fiber pad. It is designed to take the constant folding and unfolding that is typical of futon use.
