THEY REALLY DO WORK!!! Since many of our futons are so plush and plump, customers who are not used to this in a futon may have an initial issue bending their futon mattress or getting it to stay in place.
These strips are designed so that the bottom of the strips adhere to the wood slats of the frame and the top of the strip (made of foam) holds the futon mattress by the resistance of friction created.
Because the strips are attached to each wood slat, they don't look ugly from the back side of the frame. Because the space between the wood slats is open, your futon mattress gets the appropriate "breathing" needed to keep it healthy and "plushy".
On the seat deck, place one strip on each wood slat towards the front edge on the top of the frame's wood slats.
