The Ambiance features a unique 12" spring, cotton, and foam futon mattress compressed to finish at 6" thick. The core is made of 560 individual pocketed cells, surrounded by four layers of cotton polyester blend and two layers of convoluted foam. It is designed to take the constant folding and unfolding that is typical of futon use.
