The Luxury, our most popular mattress, is a totally new type of mattress that will not bottom out, fatigue or dish. High resilience and high density foam creates a futon mattress with a combination of unprecedented plushness, exceptional durability, outstanding resilience, and improved pressure distribution. As a result, the Luxury mattress maintains its original comfort level the longest over any other similar futon mattress. Because foam quality is foam density, we use high density high resiliency foam core for optimal support and longevity (2.0 pounds per cubic foot foam). Then we wrap this foam with the same high density high resiliency foam on each side providing optimal comfort. We use the heaviest and most durable cotton/poly twill outer shell (weighs at least 7.5 ounces per square yard); seams will not split. The Luxury has been carefully designed & manufactured by means of an environmentally friendly 'green process' (for example, eliminating ozone depleting CFC's). Furthermore, the Luxury exceeds both federal & state specifications and flammability laws.

The Luxury futon mattress is hand-stuffed providing individual attention to detail that guarantees that each layer is even and without lumps or tears. Edges are hand-wrapped to make sure that the edges have the same layers as the middle which is particularly important for straight stable edges and comfortably sitting. We zipper close to avoid machine stitched cording which is both uncomfortable and unattractive. Because the layers are glued rather than tufted together, the Luxury has a cleaner, smoother appearance as a sofa. Our corners are softly squared edges to create a smooth finish look with the decorative futon cover.

Tri-Athlete Status Not Necessary; the Luxury is both lightweight (on average 20 pounds less than most futon mattresses), making sleep to sit conversion very easy. Plus, it is a 'no flip' futon mattress.
